Nantucket and the waters surrounding this amazing island have been a central part of my entire life. I started to fish here  in the  early 70's as a young boy and began my exploration of fly-fishing the island in the mid eighties as a teenager. I started hunting on island in the mid 90's primarily for waterfowl and later became obsessed with archery hunting  for whitetails when I returned back to the island full time in 2003. Of all the amazing outdoor opportunities available on Nantucket, I find sight fishing for large striped bass on the sand and grass flats the most challenging and gratifying way to pursue these amazing  game fish. This type of fishing is in essence hunting with a fly rod in your hand, and this particular hunt takes place in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine-the waters of Nantucket.

 When I am not on the water I am attending to my law practice here on island and the Four Winds Gifts downtown which I own (a business which has been in my family for over 30 years).
